Other then the thieves ;) downtown is incredble. It is like an old circus town. The buildings are all painted very brightly but after years of neglect they look CRAZY.

Downtown Lima
With care: I was actually robbed later this day....don't walk alone (all is well, only lost my cellphone but no more solo camera adventures)
